Your placing of an order with Gadgetsformycar.com, either verbally, electronically,
or in writing, constitutes your acceptance of the following terms & conditions:
FULLY INSTALLED CAR KITS
Payment For non-account holders,
We will evaluate the validity of credit/debit card transactions before processing an order. We will
then require a 50% deposit be charged to your credit/debit card prior to shipping the goods.
We also reserve the right to refuse a sale on transactions where the required validation criteria are
not met. In every case, any goods supplied remain the property of Gadgetsformycar.com until paid for in full.
Cancellations
If you are unavailable at the agreed time / date specified and fail to inform us within 48 hours of
the appointment time, or any of the details supplied by you to us are incorrect and this results in
an abortive visit, we reserve the right to charge a £55.00 (ex VAT) cancellation fee.
Delivery of parts to be Installed
All equipment will be delivered to the installation address at least one working day prior to the
agreed installation date & time. We will always deliver to the installation address unless an
alternative delivery address is given. It is your responsibility to notify us if you do not receive the
goods prior to the installation date. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee as notified
above where our agents have attempted to deliver the goods but have been unable to do so.
We will ALWAYS require a verifiable delivery signature.
Bluetooth Car Kits
Installation of a Bluetooth car kit does not include the setup of your handset. We regret we
are unable to accept responsibility for any problems arising with the handset or with ‘pairing'
the handset to the Bluetooth® kit. The instruction manual provided with your handset will
provide information on how to pair your phone to a Bluetooth® device.
Warranty & Repairs
All equipment supplied and installed by Gadgetsformycar.com carries a 1-year parts and labour
warranty. If any component part of the equipment fails within 1 year of installation, we shall
replace it free of charge. If however, we find the fault to be due to user error, misuse, damage,
a faulty handset, or otherwise outside of the manufacturers warranty, we reserve the right to
charge a call-out fee at the rates prevailing at the time. (Currently £55.00 + vat) If replacement
parts are required, you shall be liable for payment prior of the required parts being dispatched.
A full refund will then be applied after the faulty parts have been returned to us by you. The
cost of returning un-installed goods must be met by the customer. We are unable to offer refunds
on installed equipment.
Returns
The cost of returning un-installed goods must be met by the customer and refunds
or exchanges cannot be processed until the goods have been received by us in their original
packaging and in good order. We recommend insured and recorded or special delivery when
returning goods. Where returned goods have been correctly supplied based on the information
given at the time of ordering, we reserve the right to charge a 50% handling fee.
Our commitment to you
While we make every effort to ensure our promises to you are met, should an engineer or a
delivery be delayed due to matters out of our control, we are not obliged to provide any form
of compensation. Should any damage occur to a vehicle during an installation this must be
demonstrated to the engineer before they leave site and noted on the engineers job-sheet.
Our engineers are fully insured, and should genuine accidental damage occur during the
installation process, the cost of rectification will be met in full.
SUPPLY ONLY
Deliveries
Your credit card will not be debited until the day we ship your goods. If your goods fail to
arrive within 14 days of dispatch, you will have the option of either a full refund or a
replacement shipment. Where an incorrect address has been given to us with the order
we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred. Claims for damage,
delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 24 hours of delivery. Claims will not be
accepted after this time.
Returns
If the goods arrive faulty or damaged, or a fault becomes apparent in the first 21 days after
delivery, we will either provide a full refund or dispatch new goods as soon as possible, both
after the faulty goods have been returned, normally the same day. If the goods are not faulty
you have 21 days from the day after the goods arrive to cancel your order and return the
goods for a refund. The cost of returning un-installed goods must be met by the customer and
refunds or exchanges cannot be processed until the goods have been received by us in their
original packaging and in good order. We recommend insured and recorded or special delivery
when returning goods. Where returned goods have been correctly supplied based on the
information given at the time of ordering, we reserve the right to charge a 50% handling fee.
A refund will be provided within 30 days of us receiving the goods. Please note that packaging
must be in pristine condition or a restocking fee of 50% of the item value will be applied.
If any returned goods are not faulty and the goods contain software that has been opened or
registered a 50% fee will apply to compensate us for the loss of value in the goods returned.
VAT
Our VAT registration number is GB . All prices listed on our website site include
VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged on all shipping costs including Royal Mail.
Data Protection
We collect the information given at the time of your order. This information is not disclosed to
any third party and is collected by and limited to Gadgetsformycar.com
From time to time however your address details may be used for electronic marketing. If you wish
to opt out of any future postal marketing please email your details to: info@gadgetsformycar.com
All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
